“Well here it is. My first record since 2021. It's called "The Wood Wide Web" and it's out as of this very moment in physical form.

The story of this album is I started researching to write songs about specific tree species but something was missing. So I started researching forests instead. I quickly learned that in the forest, it's not every tree for themselves. Trees communicate. They take care of their young. They form reciprocal relationships. Some even share with other species. It's a community.

And that's where I thought about us. Humans. How are our best we form communities too. Not just of mutual benefit but of collective benefit. And the more I learned about forests I saw more similarities with us than differences.

So here it is: The Wood Wide Web. A family folk album about how we have more in common with trees than we think. Which tree is the most like you? Can trees fall in love? Do trees yawn? How do you tell Evergreens apart? We explore these questions. We also consider: what if forests provide us with a blueprint for a better, more co-operative world?
